After seeing the original and this I think that Phoenix looks better with pink eyes. The silver just do not seem to work. If you really wanna get rid of the pink eyes maybe you could do light orange or yellow eyes since her name is Phoenix although I would not know how they look until I saw her with them. You could even do red eyes which worked for ChibiUSa.

Yeah, maybe so, but I was tired of all the pink. She was SO pink... I added orange into her fuku (which has a different design now) and changed her eyes to silver to spice it up. Sphynx already had orange eyes, so I wanted to make them all different.

PS: Where did you see old artwork of her?
